This website (www.complaintsboard.com) saved my butt! Of course I suppose there are two sides to every story, but these are my own honest opinions and impressions of BetterTrades.

I’ve been in sales most of my life and these people are good… almost had me sucked in and I used to write about scams!

This company (BetterTrades.com) charges an arm and a leg for seminars and services…the value isn’t even close to being worth it. I am a 56 year old and have taken their seminars and spend hundreds of hours trying to make it work…it is a big flop. they made it sound so easy and so step by step yet… it is not so.
You are not given enough time on the so called ” Mondy Back Guarantee” it is a farce.
I would strongly advise you not to waste this kind of money. It is mostly hype.

I am so sorry to have wasted so much money with them. There are alternatives that are a much, much better investment. Do not make my mistake.

BetterTrades Complaint Sample 3:

I went to their (www.BetterTrades.com) introductory seminar and was told all you need to start making fantastic money was their ‘Market Essentials which was around $3000 if you didn’t have that amount you simply could pay $999 and the rest would be in monthly installments for under $150 per month WITH NO INTEREST.

Of course I signed up received the CD’s and scheduled to go to the 3 day workshop and to bring our computers. At the workshop we were allowed to use their software program which gives you the stocks and prices and what they are doing etc. If we wanted to buy that program it would cost another $3200 (approximately) but you dont need the program you can do paper trading with any online brokerage THEY SAID. Also in order to know about the different company’s which gave you their symbols etc was another $3000 which we got to use at the 3 day.

Well lo and behold - got home - got the online brokerage and now on their webinars trying to do the online paper trading. IT’S NOT WORKING CUZ IT’S NOT THE SAME AS THEIRS.

I called them and complained they suggested to buy their program or just keep trying and I should be able to correlate what they were doing. I believe I called about 5 different times but was never given any info I could use to make this work. I supposedly could get my money back within 6 months doing actual trades. HOW COULD I DO ACTUAL TRADES WHEN I COULDN’T FOLLOW THE ONLINE PAPER TRADE SINCE I COULD NOT AFFORD THEIR SOFTWARE?? I could not get my money back plus I still have to pay the monthly charge.

I stopped paying the $150 per month with 22% interest which was suppose to be NO INTEREST and of course I am being harassed. They said it was in the contract I signed. (When I was in line signing up- with 20 people behind me - who had time to read the tiny fine print!)

I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY RIPPED OFF!

The principal capacities of individuals or companies dealing with equities i.e. stock are known as stock traders. These traders usually try to gain short term profits from short-term prices. These prices may last anywhere from a few seconds to several weeks. One can be a full time or a part stock trading professional. A stock trader becomes or acts like a financial advisor or manager, once he starts to act as an advisor or a money manager with the intention of adding values to the respective client’s finances. This financial manager may be an individual with his/ her own set up of business or affiliated to large banking or financial corporation.
 
There are many types of stock trading, such as day trading, swing trading, market making, scalping or trading, momentum trading, and trading the news and arbitrage. The trading floor at the New York Stock Exchange is the place where all the stock traders meet.
 
Stock traders and stock investors are different from each other. A stock investor purchases stocks and holds it for an extended period of time. This time period can stretch over several months and even years. An investor’s purchasing of stock heavily depends upon their primary fundamental analysis of their investment decisions. Buying and holding stocks for extended periods of time is a strategy which became extremely popular in the 1980s and 1990s. But in 2001-2003, the strategy lost some of its followers as NASDAQ saw its value decline by 60%.
 
Stock traders or investors can buy stock from the stock brokers, banks or from brokerage firms. Now that everyone has access to the internet, it is used commonly. In this fast paced world, everything has now shifted over to the computer. In NYSE, however, only a small portion of the trading volume is managed electronically. Stock quotes are very important. The brokerage firm’s dealers show know exactly how much stocks are being or sold. They should have up-to-the-minute accuracy for this.

Interfacing with different stock markets are required to make actual trades. Lastly, it is important to be ensured that one’s finances are strong before one hits the trading floors online. Also debt free advice is very important. One should be careful and seek only quality advice.
